I try to respond to every message within a few days. Sometimes I am traveling in Italy with limited internet. Sometimes life gets busy. If you have not heard back from me after one week, feel free to send a gentle follow-up.

Almost anything related to Italy travel is fair game. Here are some examples of messages I especially enjoy answering:
Questions about a specific article you read on this site. If something was unclear or you want more detail, just ask.
Suggestions for places I should visit and write about. I am always looking for off-the-beaten-path recommendations.
Corrections. If I got something wrong, tell me. I will fix it and thank you publicly or privately, whichever you prefer.
Your own travel stories. I love hearing about the meals you ate, the views that stopped you in your tracks, and the unexpected adventures you had.

How Quickly Will I Reply?
On a normal week when I am home, expect a reply within two to three days.
When I am traveling in Italy with my wife, replies may take a week or longer. I do not check email every day on the road. That is part of why I travel. To disconnect a little.
If you need an immediate answer, this is not the right place. If you can be patient, I promise to give your message real attention when I return.
